Supporting the Honors College

Dear Alumni & Friends,

Greetings from the MSU Honors College!  As many of you know, last year the Honors College celebrated its 50th Anniversary. To commemorate this momentous milestone, the Honors College invited all Honors College alumni and friends back to campus to share memories, visit with faculty and staff, and reacquaint themselves with Michigan State University and the Honors College.  Four of the past seven Honors College Directors were present to recollect the founding and developing of our great Honors College.  In addition, a Golden Opportunity Scholarship has been established to commemorate the anniversary, assisting high achieving students with financial need.  For more information about the Golden Opportunity Scholarship and/or supporting the Honors College, please contact Barbara Ball-McClure at 517-432-7330 or ballmccl@msu.edu or visit the University Development website.

We greatly value our Honors College alumni and friends.  We are always interested to hear about your recent achievements, academic endeavors and Honors College memories.  Please feel free to contact us to receive more information on reconnecting with your MSU Honors College by using our alumni update form for address, e-mail, phone number, job title, and other changes or updates and feel free to contact me anytime at katie@msu.edu or 517-355-2326.

            Warmest regards,

            Katie Cable, Alumni Relations Coordinator

Honors College Alumni Association

The Honors College Alumni Association (HCAA) consists of Honors College alumni and friends who choose to support the Honors College.  Through annual membership with the central Michigan State University Alumni Association, a portion of each member’s dues is distributed to the Honors College. The Honors College uses these funds to support HCAA scholarships and HCAA sponsored events.

To become an HCAA member, visit www.msualum.com/membership and select “Honors College” when prompted to select your desired college.  A portion of your membership dues will be returned to the Honors College Alumni Association fund.
